Audiences are everywhere. For some time now, high-end watch and jewelry maker Jacob & Co. holds the official Godfather license to produce luxury goods, including timepieces, of course. Now, on the 50th anniversary of the original film, Jacob & Co. presents a new limited edition of the Jacob & Co. Opera “Godfather” watch.
Known as the reference OP110.30.AA.AA.ABALA, the watch is based on the previous version of the Opera Godfather and features detailed decorations that pay homage to 13 classic scenes from The Godfather movie. Much of it is based on Marlon Brando's character Don Vito Corleone, one of the more interesting and mysterious mafia bosses in fictional history. That said, Puzo's fictional characters do come from real places, including the name "Corleone," a real town in Sicily where the powerful family in the movie originated. Jacob & Co. chose Sicily as the place to unveil this latest limited edition and a lavish testimony to one of the greatest films of the 20th century.
