The Bundesliga club says the 21-year-old Clemens, a midfielder, has signed a four-year deal through June 2017. Schalke general manager Horst Heldt says Clemens is a player with "enormous potential" and "were delighted that we could secure another German talent on a long-term basis." Schalke extended 19-year-old German international Julian Draxlers contract last month.
